Account deletion

Last updated: 4 September 2026

You can delete your Sknak account yourself, from inside the platform, without contacting support. This page explains the steps and what happens to your data afterwards — in line with the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law.

Deletion is self-service and requires a typed confirmation so it can never happen by accident:

  • From the mobile app: “More” → “Delete account”, then confirm.
  • From the web: sign in, then “Settings” → “Delete account”, and type the required confirmation word.
  • Deletion takes effect immediately — no waiting period and no manual approval.

The effect is immediate and atomic:

  • Every sign-in session on every device is revoked, and push tokens are removed.
  • Your personal identifiers are erased: email address, phone number, and sign-in credentials.
  • Your unit ownership links are closed with a recorded date — the account no longer owns any unit.
  • If you are a service vendor, your directory profile is hidden and its contact details and licence number erased.

Some records are kept because association-governance and accounting rules require them, stripped of your identifiers:

  • Unit payment and dues records — they belong to the unit and the association, not the person.
  • The audit log and ticket history; only the display name remains so history stays readable.
  • The trace of closing your unit links — proof the account no longer holds access.

A chairman cannot delete their account while still chairing an association — the request stops with a clear message. Transfer the chairmanship first via support, then delete.

For any question about deletion or your data, reach us via the support email in the site footer, or from the privacy policy page.
